Happy Holi!

Did you have a good time? We tried to. Nino hated getting coloured, hated anyone colouring me and the only time he din't cry was when he sat down to play 'dhobi' in the wash area. Sigh. So much for spending a bomb on organic colours.

Happy Holi to you too! I can understand Nino's rection, though. It's tough on the little kids. I remember being terrified of it myself.

:) I'm on a holiday, surrounded by old friends and some good music, and I was hoping to bump into some of my new found ones just this minute. I knew I'd find you here, now. hug.

Happy Holi to the Nino parivar! Hope you have a super day :)

Well if it's any comfort, I loathed Holi as a kid too..not everyone's cup of tea. These days I prefer the spiritual dimension of it.

Aww..Nino looks so sweet. Peanut is waiting for Saturday to get drenched. She loves it.

Happy Holi to Nino's family!

You've got a lovely blog here. Came here from Tharini's post, your comment on working women and the quality time rang a bell.

Happy holi to you and Nino!

Hay Nino's mum, happy holi to you, Nino and your family!

My nephew who is almost two years old, stayed away from his mom and dad for most of the fun, because they had suddenly turned black and pink and many more colours. And he shied away, sometimes even hid from his folks who for some strange reason had turned to behaving crazily and applying colours :)

I guess it is understandable why many young ones like to stay away from the craziness!

Best wishes,
Anjali

Hi, just saw this. He's a handsome little guy!

Depends on the kid's age and the degree of intrusive behaviour the see around them I think. We had no one forcibly applying colours, just polit little dabs, so we had fun :)

Suj - what, where? :)

Nitya - hahaha! sailing in the same murky waters, babe.

Preeti - will do.

wordjunkie - thank you!

Swati - I would think so too: but there was just me to begin with, and then the grandparents joined in, and then a few of our friends: all people he knows and loves and has seeing acting crazy on one occasion or the other.

Ok, then I do declare this matter officially beyond my wisdom :)
